For some time now, I've been wanting to touch up the second kit in my Z series produced in May 2022, the 2S19 MSTA-S from Zvezda. This is now done with mainly some improvement in the weathering and the replacement of the figurine in the turret by one from Alex Miniature.
A little photo comparison between the BTR-MDM from Stan Models (3d print) and the one from Tankograd (resin).
For the history and specifications of the BTR-MDM Rakushka, I refer you to my previous post Z(27) about the 3D printed version of this vehicle by Stan Models.
Here we can find the resin version by Tankograd. Pre-dating the 3D printing revolution, this model is very fine and nicely done but missing a certain number of details that you have to add yourself "the old-fashioned way" 😉 Although a little smaller than the Stan Models version, the kit look pretty good, with some battle damages added and supplemented here with Alex Miniatures figurines and various accessories.
