AMX VTT/VCI (Belgium)

As they are just finished, let's start with some Belgian AMX VTT/VCI (in French, Véhicule Transport de Troupes ou Véhicule de Combat d'Infanterie).

From 1962 the AMX equipped the Belgian armed forces which used a total of 555 of them, of which 523 were built under license in Belgium itself. Several versions of the vehicle were used: troop transport, command post, 81mm mortar firing platform (part of which was later converted into Milan launcher), ...

From 1983 until 1988, the AMX were gradually replaced by the new M-113 and AIFV.

Our first model is a very fine resin kit from TAS model from The Netherlands. The kit is slightly modified to represent the version equipped with a .30 mmg on pivot. (made 2019)

The second one is the recent ACE kit of the turret version (made 2020).

I plan to do more AMX in the future, including a Milan version.
