SNAR-10 (USSR)

Introduced in the Soviet Army in 1975 and by early 1980s in several Warsaw Pact armies, the SNAR-10 (NATO Big Fred) is a self-propelled battlefield surveillance radar based on the ubiquitous MT-LB tracked vehicle. The system has only a limited artillery locating function but can provide location on stationary and moving battlefield targets. It is normally deployed close to infantry and artillery observation posts.

The kit is an old one from ACE. As always with this brand, the kit need some works but at the end give a good representation of the vehicle (made 2022).
