The KamAZ-63968 Typhoon-K is part of the Russian Typhoon family of Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected armoured fighting vehicles. All Typhoon variants use the same family of engines, information and management system, mine protection and suspension. The two primary manufacturers are KamAZ and Ural. The Typhoon-K version produced by KamAZ is a 6x6 multi-functional, modular, armoured personnel carrier that offer a high level of protection to the crew (up to 16 men).
The kit is a very fine 3D print by Zeus Model, albeit not of the very last version of the vehicle (will have to wait for the future Zvezda one). I opened a roof hatch to place a composite figure (body ModelCollect + head Alex Miniature) equipped with a nice 9K38 Igla MANPAD from Scale23. I also tested a wet effect for the first time (using an AMMO product) but I'm not very convinced, the result being discernible only under certain lighting.
