A modernised variant of the ubiquitous T-72 main battle tank family, the T-72AV entered service with the Soviet Army in 1985 and is equipped with new armour, new engine and a new sighting system. The T-72AV is protected with explosive reactive armor (ERA) from the Kontakt-1 type. The ERA bricks are fitted at the front hull, the turret and the front parts of the side rubber skirts.
The kit is an exquisitely detailed 3D print by Camel Model. I added some details, damages and furnitures. The figures are from an unknown Chinese brand.
