Introduced into service in 1978, the 2S5 Giatsint-S is a Soviet 152 mm self-propelled gun. Installed on a modified chassis from the SA-4 Krug surface-to-air missile system, its 152 mm gun has a range of 28 km (33-40 km with rocket-assisted projectiles). Deploying to fire the gun takes 3 minutes, and it can sustain a rate of fire of 5 to 6 rounds per minute.
First model of the year, this Giatsint-S is a very nice one from YK 3D Home. I added some cabling to the gun, a self-defence machine gun, some accessories and a camouflage net. The crew is a converted Alex Miniature figure.
