A twin-engined multi-purpose military helicopter, the Westland Lynx went into operational service with the British Army in 1977. A very powerful and agile helicopter capable of attaining high speeds and performing loops and rolls, the Lynx can also be equipped with 8 TOW anti-tank guided missiles.
