Heir to the German Jagdpanzer of World War II, 80 JPK were acquired by the Belgian army in 1975. This tank destroyer was equipped with a 90mm gun which, coupled with the very low silhouette of the vehicle, made it a formidable opponent. Within the Belgian army, until 1986, the JPK equipped a Company of 12 vehicles within the Anti-Tank Battalions present in each Brigade. From 1986 until their withdrawal from service in 1992, they were grouped into specialized Anti-Tank Platoons within the 8 Mechanized Infantry Battalions.

The JPK models come from Artitec, but these are unfortunately no longer available, the brand having apparently given up on 1:72 and focusing on other scales focused on model railroading. It's a shame because, although rather expensive, their resin models, which were available to assemble or already assembled and painted, were of very high quality and on original subjects (if only I could have in 1:72 scale their 1:87 MAN 630 L2 AE Cargo, Guepard or AIFV / YPR ...). (made 2016)
